Bilton School was founded in the year 1637 by a wealthy man looking to educate the sons of influential and rich men in England. It quickly became the best of the best, the only place a well-bred young man could go to stay in good social standing with his peers. Powerful men were made at Bilton over the years, ones who moved on later to become politicians or powerful Lords. It wasn't until 1812 that true scandal reached Bilton School. Five students were found dead in their dormitory, throats slit and stomachs riddled with stab wounds. All of them boys belonging to influential houses, all of them younger than seventeen. The sixth occupant of the dormitory room was a young man by the name of Thomas Johansson, a boy who's father was a Swedish diplomat in London. He was found in a wardrobe with scratches on his face, blood on his hands and a knife under his feet. The blood wasn't his and the scratches? His own dormmates had made them. He was taken away to a psychiatric hospital in Sweden after his father's immunity kept him free of a trial and prison. The boy had claimed that a dark figure had woken him up the night of the murders and taken hold of his night gown, whispering for him to 'stab them, Thomas...stab them all'. The boy said he'd refused an that he'd not remembered a thing until the police had found him in the wardrobe asleep. He was found dead in his cell three years later having torn open the skin of his wrists with his teeth. For decades these murders and the boy who committed them were spoken about. Bilton School lost many of their students and financiers to rumor and the desire to stay far away from the tarnish that had come to the school's name. One hundred years later, however, the rumors had stopped spreading and anyone involved in the case and the murders were long dead. Bilton School began to flourish against in 1912, once again becoming the best and brightest of schools for the richest, brighest and most influential young minds of Europe. In 1952 the school opened its doors to female students which only served to bring in more money, more influence and more pride. Powerful marriages came from the school in the years following, as well as a few quiet scandals where girls had to leave due to 'illness', but all in all the school was powerful and looked as though it would go strong for another one hundred years. Now the year is 2012. Its been two hundred years since Thomas Johansson murdered his dormmates in what was labeled fit of mad hysteria. Its been two hundred years since the boy tried to explain just who and what the dark figure above his bed was. The murders were a message. No one understood. Students have come back for a new year at Bilton School. Some have claimed that nightmares are keeping them from sleeping at night. Others are claiming they hear voices. The dorm where the boys died, turned into a storage room decades ago, has apparently had a light on inside it well after curfew. There are ghosts at Bilton School. Five of them are the spirits of the murdered boys, trapped there by the dark shadow that forced Thomas to murder them. Another is Thomas himself, dragged back to the school he saw in his nightmares even on the night of his suicide. But who are the other ghosts? Why are there so many? There are old, old rumors in crumbling books that said the founder of the school, Lord Bilton, poked at things he never should have, awoke things that never should have been woken. The Dark Man, the shadow that possessed Thomas all those years ago, still needs to get his message out: LEAVE OR DIE.[/style] [style=font-size: 10px; text-align: center;]TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN[/style] |
